In our service this weekend, our passage came from Daniel 4:24-33. In this passage Daniel interprets King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream and the king descends into insanity.
• King Nebuchadnezzar forgot he was not divine.
• God repeatedly tells the faithful to stay humble.
• Everyone should fear God because of what God can do.
• Fear can help us accept the reality of God’s creation.
• Excessive pride and hubris causes us to lose sight of reality.
