Описание: According to the latest Eurostat data, the Polish economy grew by 3.7% year-on-year in the third quarter. This is the second-best result in the EU. The Polish GDP growth significantly exceeds the EU average, which currently stands at 1.6%. Eurostat also reported that the growth in the eurozone was 1.4% in this period, slightly lower than the previous two quarters when it reached 1.5%. Analysts' forecasts predicted a decline to 1.3%, but the data turned out to be slightly better than expected. In the entire EU, the growth remained stable at 1.6% year-on-year. In Poland, there was a clear acceleration compared to the second quarter, when the growth rate was 3%. The GDP increased by 0.8% quarter-on-quarter. This places Poland among the top EU economies, with only Ireland ahead at 12.3%. Cyprus, Bulgaria, and Spain follow. Germany recorded only 0.3%, Italy 0.4%, and France 0.9%. The GUS also confirmed this, stating that the real GDP in the third quarter of 2025, adjusted for seasonality, increased by 0.8% compared to the previous quarter and was 3.7% higher than a year ago. Analysts predict further growth, with ING pointing to strong consumption and a good service sector. Economists at mBank expect a quarterly growth rate of over 4%. The International Monetary Fund forecasts a 3.2% growth in 2025 and 3.1% in the following year. The Ministry of Finance is even more optimistic, estimating 3.4% and 3.5% respectively.
