1. ELECTION OF NEW COUNCILMEMBERS FOR WARDS 1 AND 4
Conduct an election among the remaining members of the Council to elect
two new Councilmembers pursuant to City Code to fill the Wards 1 and 4
Council seats vacated when the newly elected Councilmembers (Eric Birk and
Shawna Lewis) moved out of their wards.

2. SAFE STREETS AND ROADS FOR ALL GRANT AGREEMENT
Consider approval of the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Grant
Agreement with the U.S. Department of Transportation – Federal Highway
Administration (FHWA) and authorize the City Manager to execute all
associated documents on behalf of the City of Augusta.

3. 2026 CEREAL MALT BEVERAGE LICENSE RENEWALS –
AUGUSTA ARTS COUNCIL
Consider approval of the 2026 Cereal Malt Beverage (CMB) License Renewal
for Augusta Arts Council, Inc., contingent upon the applicant receiving the
CMB Stamp from the State of Kansas and submitting the license fee.

I. MATTERS FROM/FOR COUNCIL
1. City Manager. Staff recommends that City Council schedule the annual
Public Building Commission meeting for 6:45 p.m., on Tuesday, January
20th.
2. City Manager. Reminder that the next City Council meeting will be on
Tuesday, January 20th because of a recognized holiday (Martin Luther King
Jr. Day).
3. Call for Other Matters. (Council members may be recognized at this time to
address the Governing Body regarding items not specifically listed on the
Agenda).
