Prosecutorial misconduct is something that comes up a lot here on “Making the Case.”
But rarely is it playing out as publicly as it is in New York City.
In March, a group of law professors filed public grievances against 21 different prosecutors in Queens. That lawsuit came after a judge tossed the murder convictions of three men citing prosecutorial misconduct. Those men had served a combined total of 100 years behind bars.
Justin Murray, one of the law professors involved from New York Law School, joins Laverne McGee on “Making the Case” to discuss the problem of prosecutorial misconduct.
