"Improvisation" by Israeli Sax player Albert Piamenta. Piamenta was member of the legendary Israeli "Jazz Work Shop" group.
This an early solo LP by Piamenta which was never reissued on CD or LP. It's an amazing mixture of Jazz, Funk, and Mediterranean music like you've never heard before. In a way it sound like a direct follow-up to the sound of another legendary funk/jazz/ethnic group - The Platina.
Piamenta was also a member of the legendary "Jazz Work Shop" group, one of the pioneers of the Israeli jazz scene. On "Improvisations" he took further his ability to mix Jazz, Funk and Jewish music. Listen to the soundclip to get a idea.
Including Flute, Alt Sax, Violin, Oud, Piano, Strings, Bass, Drums & Percussions.
Pressed and sold in 1981 in very small amount. Hard to find.
