Neverness To Everness, aka NTE, aka, Anime GTA has been my most highly anticipated upcoming anime game ever since I saw the first trailer for it, in this game you’ll explore a highly detailed and open world city map full of building that have explorable interiors, when it comes to the story you’re basically an anomaly investigator so you’ll head out into the world tracking down supernatural encounters to try and maintain order.
Neverness To Everness is packed full of mini games, fun interactions out in the world and exploration content, if you want to you can steal cars from NPCs or randomly attack them, gain a wanted level then have to evade the police, as you progress through the game you’ll also be levelling up something called your “city tycoon level” which allows you to open your own café business, purchase real estate, partake in car racing events, do bank heists, play arcade mini games, go fishing, and even invite your team members over to your house for a little social interaction.
In terms of combat Neverness To Everness has all the fundamentals that you’d expect, a perfect dodge, counter attacks, ultimate’s and character swap combos, but something the game does do differently is how you build your teams, basically each character specializes in a specific element of the Esper wheel and swapping to a character with an adjacent element can trigger as Esper cycle ability which gives bonus effects.
When it comes to the gacha the game uses an interesting dice and board game theme with rates being fairly generous as well as pity carrying over across banners with the featured character also being guaranteed within 90 pulls, there’s no off-banner 50/50 characters which I really appreciate.
Honestly though that’s just scratching the surface, in this video I’ll give you my first impressions of the game trying out as many features as I can, and towards the end I’ll jump on an end game account to see what the later content looks like
