In the year of the Golden Jubilee, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Southern Africa Prayer Men’s League held its 9th Biennial Rally under the theme: “But test them all; hold on to what is good” 1 Thessalonians 5:21.
Hosted by the Central Diocese, the gathering took place on 16 August 2025 at Chief Albert Luthuli Primary School in Benoni.
This significant gathering brought together men from various Dioceses across ELCSA in a spirit of unity, reflection, and renewal. Grounded in Word and Sacrament, the rally echoed the call to live faithfully under the cross, embracing the Gospel mandate to stand firm in faith, serve with courage, and uphold righteousness in daily life.
The rally served as a powerful reminder that members of the Prayer Men’s League are called not only to lead in their households and congregations but also within the broader community, doing so with humility, integrity, and boldness, anchored in Christ alone.
