This time we were back in the Lake District climbing another Wainwright. This one was a little different though as we were starting from a very busy town which is not something we are used to when we're heading up a mountain.
That added to the charm though and from the very busy streets of Ambleside we were soon heading up Wansfell Pike to be see some amazing views down over Windermere. Then it was on to the Wainwright summit of Baystones which also had some great views of the surrounding mountains.
This was a very busy walk but we still enjoyed it and were really suprised how quickly you could leave the crowds of Ambleside behind to find yourself on top of a spectacular mountain.
