Odd Realm is a quaint deliberately pixelated world building game with tons of character. The developer and myself discussed heavily the influences he was interested in for the soundtrack, and lo and behold, there was much talk of the classic era of Japanese Role Playing Games from the 16bit and 32bit era.

In an effort to better simulate a similar sound, I actually ended a couple months of piano lessons with a focus on music theory just to be able to get some of those classy key changes.
