Tony Locantro writes that EMI’s original ledger entry for the recording sessions indicates only May 18, 1964 [yes, 1964] and June 16, 1965. However, the Capitol Records sheet for SP 8661 (Franco Corelli sings Granada and other romantic songs) also gives June 17 and September 27, 1965. The ‘‘Pourquoi fermer ton coeur’’ that was part of original LP release was actually recorded in late 1961 with maestro Franco Ferraris (who was not credited on the Granada LP)
