Studying Thru Painting - Monday, Week 69 (14/06/2021)

Описание: Elephant week! The week you had absolutely no idea you wanted but deep down you know you were waiting with bated breath for lol! We're going to focus on this wonderful being throughout the whole week, 1.) because I've never painted an elephant before, 2.) because there's no cooler way to study nature than through painting and drawing, and lastly, perhaps most important of all, thanks to Kaleigh @warriorpainters , it provides us with an opportunity to pay attention to the remarkable story about the wandering herd of wild Asian elephants in the southwest Chinese province of Yunnan (Kaleigh's hometown). Deforestation rates and the herd growing in numbers have pushed some elephants to search for new habitats and they may have gotten lost in the process. Elephant week!!!
