Reaction to The Exorcist: Believer *Friedkin, sweetie, I am SO sorry*

Описание: As a LONG time fan of the 1973 film, I can't even begin to describe the disappointment and heavy heart I felt once the end credits rolled for this one.
The impact and relevance the original film has had for over five decades is something that would have been delusionally BRAVE to touch and try to merge a new story with. The clownery/buffoonery that has been committed here..FAR TOO MUCH.
Universal paid $400 million for the rights to this franchise to be able to make this..A GAMBLE THAT DID NOT PAY OFF IMO. Listen, Jason sweetie, this might have worked had you not settled for the same team that fucked up last year. The original does not rely on jump scares and HEAVY CG effects to tell a story. The risks that were taken back in the day and the minimal yet chilling effects from the original -- you just can't compare that masterpiece to this, they're not on the same level.
Unless The Exorcist: Deceiver (2025) gives us 50 year old possessed Regan, please axe it.

I will be suing DGG and his team for emotional damages.
