Welcome to Street Urchin Adventures First Video!!!
We went to the Carolina Renaissance Festival! This was an experience Kristen and I have never done, Emma on the other hand grew up with them so she was excited to go and share it with us. We went fully dressed up as you should when it comes to the Ren Faire.
It was amazing to see all the other Mushrooms and home made costumes and I loved the effort that patrons put into the world.
We have wanted to go to this event for years and were so happy we made it. I didn't record it and should have but we got ready in the parking lot like many others, AKA do not drive wearing a corset.
When we got there we met walked the whole thing to get away from the entrance crowd as we each either have autism or PTSD and don't do well with crowds. Once at the far end we made our way back to look at all the booths, then a joust and to catch up with Emma's family.
The rest of the day was spent traveling around looking at vendors, food and shows. It was truly an experience to go and we all highly recommend dressing the part as it is so fun to be fully immersed into that world!
