What's cracking, folks! I'm back with another Simple Minds reaction from their 1984 album Sparkle in the Rain, and this time we listen to the incredible (and seemingly live?) "The Kick Inside of Me," a track with astounding vocals and powerful sonics. That said, this is another one where I was so impacted by the song that I felt like rambled afterward. But as I did manage to say, I'm not sure about the themes here even if the line about something "kick[ing] up inside of" him seems central. In any case, join me as we listen to more mid '80s Simple Minds. Cheers!
