The Islamic tarbiya is not a rigid or fixed model. Rather, it engages with individual personalities and psychological differences, working directly through educational institutions such as schools and indirectly through other influential elements, including media. At its core, tarbiya centers on the human being, and its ultimate aim is to build the human person—directing their abilities, skills, and qualifications toward what is good and beneficial (al-khayr).
