Take a relaxing drive through the Los Angeles suburbs of Duarte and Bradbury, in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. This scenic driving tour is accompanied by a calm guitar music soundtrack. You will see peaceful, tree-lined streets, beautiful views of the mountains and the San Gabriel Valley, and some large homes in the more upscale neighborhoods of the foothills.
Wildlife to spot along the way: two deer grazing in somebody's yard!
This drive took place on a cloudy day, with clear views. There was some light rain towards the end of the drive.
The cities of Bradbury and Duarte, California, are found approximately 20 miles to the north east of downtown LA. Bradbury is a wealthy community with many large horse properties, located to the north and west of Duarte. Duarte is a city in the San Gabriel Valley, known as the "City of Health," and home to the City of Hope Medical Center. Be sure to look out for the big 'd' on the hill, representing the city seal. We were able to go right up to this while driving around some of the wealthier streets in the foothills.
