How to make a propolis infused glycerin using a yogurt maker. If you do not have a yogurt maker, you could also set your sealed jars on a heating pad. Research shows that propolis is better extracted using heat. for an even ore potent propolis tincture, rehydrate the propolis overnight with a little Everclear. Of course, your Propolis Glycerin extract will not be be 100% alcohol free but it will be more potent. glycerin will have to be diluted first with boiled distilled water before you can make your propolis glycerite.
3 oz. weighed Propolis
Enough Everclear to moisten or make a paste
Glycerin to Water Ratio
for dry herbs
6 parts glycerin
4 parts water
6 oz. glycerin
4 oz. boiled distilled water
Total 10 oz.
