C-segment sedans are seeing a sudden revival. Last week we had the Skoda Rapid TSI, next week we will have the new 5th generation Honda City and this here is the updated 2020 Hyundai Verna. This is not the Turbo with the 1.4 GDI engine and DCT automatic, what we are testing here is the 1.5 MPI with the new CVT automatic. Editor Sirish Chandran discovers that the tightened up suspension delivers better handling and road manners while the good ground clearance ensures it does not touch on speed breakers. The 1.5 petrol engine also delivers fantastic refinement.
