Close Encounter With a Wild Seal | Angry Bird Included

Описание: Relax and enjoy a peaceful moment at Allan’s Beach, New Zealand, where the sun is shining, the waves are gently rolling in, and a surprise guest makes an appearance! This video was meant to be a fully static shot of the serene coastline, but when a seal decided to waddle across the sand and head into the ocean, I just had to follow the action—so, I moved the camera (twice!) to capture the moment.

But this seal wasn’t the only star of the show! A VERY unimpressed oystercatcher made it clear that it was NOT happy about this unexpected visitor. It probably had a nest nearby and was loudly voicing its concerns. Since the original audio was terrible (thanks, wind and bad luck 🙃), I had to replace it with better beach sounds and some authentic oystercatcher calls from Freesound.org to truly capture the moment.

🎤 Now, about the audio…
If you’ve seen some of my recent videos, you might have noticed that my sound quality has been… well, let’s call it ‘adventurous’ 😂. This time, I swapped out the original audio for a much better recording I made with my brand-new microphone! So, while the video is from Allan’s Beach, the soothing ocean sounds are from another stunning beach I filmed recently—with proper audio gear this time! 😄
