OK, sorry for the poor quality video. This is a real world job I had to do and making the vid was an after thought to help others. So don't expect a high quality video whose real purpose is to sell you parts.
Also, apologies for starting the video in the middle of the job. Take from my video what info you need. Watch other videos and that should give you a more complete picture of the job ahead of you.
Tools needed: 10, 12, 14mm sockets or wrenches; needle nose pliers or small screwdriver to assist in removing plastic electrical connectors (don't just yank on them, they require some finesse to remove without breaking them); flashlight; a mirror helped me to see under the alternator; battery terminal cleaner; dielectric grease for terminals; pry bar to get old alternator off.
This was not an easy job. You had to take off several things in order to make room for the alternator removal.
I think a good tech could do the job in 1-1.5 hr. First timers should allow a few hours.
