Oil Painting Demonstration Tutorial How To Create Realistic Green Grass Meadow Landscape Time Lapse

Описание: There are probably lots of different ways on how to paint grass! In this video I demonstrate on how I paint it, from the under painting to individual blades!

I am almost finished with the painting, which I most likely title "Vatolakkos Fields V." I figured it would of been a great idea to show how I did the grass! This one is for the grass in the middle and distance! Stay tuned for a close up demo too!

As I mention in the video, it is important to know there are many different types of grass out there. There is the perfectly cut kind and then there is the wild ones! Also lighting and time of the year will make an impact on the appearance too! The grass I do a demonstration on is lush green wild grass in the spring during overcast weather!

Brushes I favor to use are the liner style type. The painting is small at 11 by 14 inches so I use 18/0 and 10/0 liners. I also use a few round brushes and flat ones too... again on the small side!

As for greens.. I make my own for the most part. I favor cobalt & cerulean blue and cadmium yellow mixtures. I do use viridian too particularly for cool highlights with a white and darks with alizarin crimson!
