Many modern fighting games don't feel the same as their older counterparts...the gameplay tends to either feel slower, bulkier, or just all around far different from the original games...for better or for worse. Mortal Kombat 1 definitely fits this description, and I have plenty of hours invested in this game to where I feel I can analyze it and provide a deep dive video where we can discuss the game mechanics and the differences between the games in the series.
Whether it is the latest games like MK1 or the re-release of the originals on the MK Legacy Kollection, or the new MK2 movie soon to come, this franchise seems to be dropping the ball across the board. Can Ed Boon save it? Can we the fans save Mortal Kombat?
