Venetian Plaster room Grand Reveal

Описание: In this video we reveal the Venetian plaster green room where we've made a risky choice by leaning into the effect made by painting the rough unprepared walls. We've used Mylands Market Green paint on the walls with their Egerton place on the ceiling and Chris has been emptying the local brocantes to find lots of treasures to finish this room off beautifully. Our favourite find though was pictures that used to be in Claridge's Hotel and were sold on auction. These pieces of art are amazing and they were an absolute steal! Most of them cost less than £10.

Dans cette vidéo, nous vous dévoilons la chambre verte en plâtre vénitien, où nous avons fait un choix risqué en nous appuyant sur l'effet produit par la peinture des murs bruts et non préparés. Nous avons utilisé la peinture Mylands Market Green sur les murs et leur Egerton Place au plafond, et Chris a écumé les brocantes du coin pour dénicher de nombreux trésors et embellir cette pièce. A bit about us - We are Chris (the tall one) and Jolyon (the less tall one). We met working at the Foreign Office, and got married in another Château south of Paris in 2018. We have both always separately had a dream of living in a Château, so it was a match made in heaven. We also have our gorgeous St Bernard, Bo, - she loves Château Trois Cloches, and can regularly be seen working in the garden, digging, or moving branches for us. The end goal is to have a beautiful venue available for big groups to hire, or the perfect location for a wedding! We try to capture as much of the renovations as possible for Youtube, so do follow along to see the transformation. We are big believers in bold o design, which fits with the Chateau's Belle Époque era. Château Trois Cloches translates to Castle of 3 Bells.
