The Epping-Ongar Railway held its 'ANNUAL STEAM GALA' from Friday 8th - Sunday 10th June 2018.
This year had a record of five steam locomotives in action over the three days which is the most the line has had to date.

Metropolitan E-class 0-4-4T No.1 (on-loan from the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre)
Port Talbot 'Hudswell-Clarke' 0-6-0ST No.813 (visiting from the Severn Valley Railway)
'Hawthorn-Leslie' 0-6-0ST W/No.3437 "Isabel" (debuting in her new livery and on Brake Van duties)
Hunslet 'Austerity' 0-6-0ST W/No.3883 "Lord Phil" (on-loan from Peak Rail)
USATC S160-class 2-8-0 No.5197 (visiting from the Churnet Valley Railway)
