Описание: Rapid Impact Compaction (RIC) was used to compact miscellaneous granular fill (containing brick, cinders, slag, cobbles concrete, glass, etc) in Elizabeth, NJ, to support a heavily loaded freezer warehouse slab. The site had 5 to 10 ft of fill overlying over-consolidated clays. Langan Engineers recommended the use of RIC since it allowed the compacted onsite material to be used (more economical than over excavation and replacement or rammed aggregate piers). The General Contractor was RC Anderson.
