Maverick Transportation is installing driver facing cameras in the new 2021 trucks and all new trucks after that. Older trucks will not be retrofitted. This is a big disappointment. I have recommended Maverick Transportation to drivers as a good alternative to the mega carriers. Now, they just join them. Did you know even Swift Transportation turned off the driver facing camera? What does that say? Companies should do things that actually increase safety like installing heated wipers. The wipers can't watch you, though. Plus, the coach is usually some college student with no CDL. Like I'm going to listen to them tell me how to drive. Bite me Lytx!
