Leonard G. Flett Author, Retired Executive of North West Company, Cree Elder | Are we blinded by pride? This presentation will look at our sense of national pride within the context of the experiences of indigenous people. Framed within the impact of colonialism, Leonard Flett, author of From the Barren Lands, will look at the historical shortfalls of government, but also recent positive developments that may give rise to a new kind of national pride.
