The TrannyFinder is a hybridization of free ride, free style and carving elements of snowboarding. It utilizes a surf inspired riding style, so its quick turning and slashy in the trees. Under foot, the board has a camber dominant profile, for stability on speedy groomers, and pop in the park.
It works great for spinning off natural features, while still allowing switch landings and takeoffs. There's lots of cut to the board, so it rails a nice turn, and carves beautifully on piste. Holds up well at speed too!
In this video I try to switch back and forth between powder terrain and carving terrain. Hopefully this will give the viewer a better understanding of how the board rides in various conditions.
