Описание: In 1994 Kb had a new president that felt strongly that toy guns should not be sold. She appeared on tv talk shows and expressed her views. KB toys did get a lot of positive press not to mention keeping some kids from being in danger.The move in itself was a great idea. The negative side to this was there was never a plan to replace the business and profits that that category generated. The same thing happened with candy and eventually even kept us from having "annoying" demos in the front of the stores. All of these moves with the absence of a plan to replace the business contributed to the long slow slide of KB Toys into an unprofitable company.
