Increase in Pay and Pension in Budget 2026-27 | Demands of Govt Employees & Pensioners

Описание: Today, we will discuss the budget news. The budget for the financial year 2026-27 is being prepared by the Finance Division and the Finance Department. The government employees and pensioners have some demands as listed below:
1. The medical allowance, conveyance allowance, and house rent allowance of the govt employees should be increased as suggested by the Pay and Pension Commission.
2. The medical allowance of the pensioners should also be increased.
3. The National Pay Scales were revised in 2022. Now, there are four adhoc relief allowances in the salary. The National Pay Scales should be revised in this budget.
4. There should be a handsome increase in the pay and pension in the budget 2026.
5. To reduce the disparity in the salaries of government employees, the Disparity Reduction Allowance (DRA) should be given at the current basic pay.
6. Income tax on the salaried class should be decreased.
