Madagascar is an action, adventure and platform video game, based on the film of the same name made in 2005 by Dreamworks Animation. The game was produced by Toys for Bob and published by Activision for PlayStation 2, Xbox, Nintendo GameCube, PC with different versions for Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS. The story is the same as the movie. The game consists of 11 levels and 3 mini-games and a shop. The 4 playable characters are the 4 protagonists of the film: Alex the lion; Marty the zebra; Gloria the hippo and Melman the giraffe. Skipper, the boss of the penguins, is another playable character, but only on the fourth level. Cabo is also playable, but only in one area of ​​the first level. Mort is playable as well, but only in a 10th level area. In each level there are 100 monkey face coins, a silver one worth 1 and a gold one worth 5.
