Students at rural southeastern Ohio''s Hocking College are on edge after someone scrawled a frightening message on the wall of a bathroom dorm, warning that black students would be killed here on February 2nd.
SOT Allen Edwards, student I just feel like sometimes, like going outside right now, I just feel uncomfortable at night going toward the woods or around the woods, kind of.
The chilling threat has fanned racial tensions on the community college campus surrounded by woods and has even led some students to withdrawal from the school. Two students have left permanently and another dozen have moved out of the dorm where the threat was found Friday.
School officials say they''re being flexible with students who don''t feel safe on campus.

While many racial threats on college campuses turn out to be nothing, some students say the rumors have them keeping a close watch on their surroundings.
SOT There was a rumor going around that there were...began getting worried.
The FBI is investigating the threat and a $5,000 reward has been offered for information leading to an arrest. The school says it has responded with beefed up security.
