From handling real-life admin at the Nigerian passport office to stepping into pure Afrobeat history at the iconic New Afrika Shrine, the week was a perfect mix of culture, chaos and style. The Shrine — inspired by the legendary Fela Kuti — is more than a venue, it’s an experience.
I also pulled up to Culture FM 🎙️, tapped into a competitive games night (serious bragging rights on the line 😂), and navigated the organised madness of Balogun Market — one of the best places to see Lagos street style in its rawest form.
Major highlight: attending the Eye Festival for the first time. The fashion. The energy. The community. Elite vibes only.
And to wrap up the week? A spontaneous flight to somewhere exciting ✈️🌍 (London boy, but we move.)
