Tinsley Railway Yard (Sheffield) and Depot on 21st May 1992
Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of Tinsley Railway Yard and Depot taken on 21st May 1992. After yet another rough sleep in the Ford Sierra awaking to the sound of idling locos across from me in the diesel depot at Tinsley the yard and general activity of this wonderful location livens up. With visiting locomotives in the form of 20s, 31s, 37s, 47s, 56s and also 60s on a mixture of traffic and liveries. This visit was to become one of my last visits to the area as the decline started to become noticeable but I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories. Feel free to comment, good or bad, all comments are read and greatly appreciated, but it is not always possible to answer each individually. Sit back and enjoy this latest production remembering all those now long gone Locomotive classes and other types of traction.
