A rack full of KORG Volcas played live with an original track by QEM.
The rack contains:
(a) Volca Beats
(b) Volca NuBase
(c) Volca FM
(d) Volca Sample 2
Vocals were sampled and enhanced with saturation and reverb in Ableton Live. Mild compression was used on the final mix during post-production via Softube Drawmer in Ableton Live. No MIDI was used in this performance and the instruments were played live using custom patches and patterns without hardware synchronisation.
"Sic Semper Evello Mortem Tyrannis" is often truncated to "Sic Semper Tyrannis" in current vernacular, but we wanted to make the historical context clear, even though it may be highly relevant in modern times.
