C151 119/120 has been taken out of the train operations fleet since November 2024. Farewell, 119/120.
Is it weird for a train to use two different braking systems together to decelerate?
As the train approaches Tanah Merah, it uses its usual regenerative braking at first. Later on, the train stops using its regenerative brakes halfway and uses frictional braking afterwards..
