Leviticus

Описание: This is the first of three lessons in the Book of Leviticus. You might think, “Oh no, not Leviticus, goat sacrifices, right?” God wants you to understand Leviticus isn’t about sacrifices any more than the Book of Jonah is about a big fish.

It’s about what do we do when God shows up to dwell in our world. God is committed to becoming one with the human family. It’s about living right in the world He created. Sacrifices had something to do with it, but that was a different time and place. When we see commands to do things that are no longer practiced, we should see the intent of the heart of the Father, what he wants rather than the details of the practice itself.

A study of Leviticus 9:15-10:3 based on “Explore the Bible: Winter 2024-25” from Lifeway. This is the first lesson from Leviticus prepared by Gary Stieber for Houston's First Baptist Church.
