I purchased a Delta 18" x 36" drum sander that I knew was broken, but it was a great price. The adjustment table gear was broken and the threaded rods & bearings were stuck. The search for new replacement gears came up dry so I decided to reverse engieeer and 3D print my own gear set and set out to rebuild the lift table. Follow along as we diagnose, clean and reassembe the table to get it working right.
