The National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities (Divyangjan) (NIEPVD) is located at 116, Rajpur Road, Dehradun. It is one of the nine national institutes working under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwDs), which falls under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India. NIEPVD was founded in 1943.
