This video contains four matches I had with the recently released LV1 Tallgeese 3 on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 700 cost general with incredible stagger accumulation, incredible mobility, low heat consumption on the primary weapon, powerful vulcans, Flap Booster, incredible melee damage, the unique ability to pull enemies towards itself with the heat rod alongside access to the powerful Firing Boost skill. It suffers from having just 22,000 HP, from having low beam resistance, from needing to use long combos that are easy to interrupt, from having high Flap Booster thrust consumption and from needing to go through a long thrust overheat cooldown time once the Firing Boost timer runs out. I hope that you enjoy watching!
Its primary weapon is a beam cannon with 3000 (1500x3) power, 65% (18%x3) heat, 1 second cooldown, 12 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap time, 400m range, 1.5 seconds focus time and 25% (55%x3) ((77%x3)) stagger value. The uncharged mode instantly staggers, while the charged mode fires a three round burst with high stagger accumulation. It can be fired while boosting if Firing Boost is activated, this also increases how much stagger accumulation each shot inflicts.
Its primary melee weapon is a beam saber with 2800 power, 2 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap time, 70% combo modifier and 150% downswing modifier. This is the ideal combo starter, it has fast swap time and a generous downswing animation. It also benefits from LV2 Aerial Melee.
Its first sub weapon is a vulcan gun with 65x2 power, 50 ammo, 720 RPM, 8 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 250m range, 1560 DPS and 4%x2 stagger value. This has long range and can stagger enemies in about 1 second, but it can only fire 25 shots before reloading. It is most useful for when your primary weapon is overheated.
Its second sub weapon is a heat rod with 3800 power, 4 seconds cooldown and 0.5 seconds swap time. This can only fire straight ahead, but it does high damage and knocks over enemies upon contact. Enemies knocked over with this weapon will be pulled towards you.
Its third sub weapon is a pair of beam sabers with 2900 power, 3.5 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap time and 100%x2 neutral swing modifier. These have long cooldown time, but they benefit from having a very powerful two-hit neutral swing animation. They also benefit from LV2 Aerial Melee.
Its fourth sub weapon is a full power beam cannon with 2000x5 power, 100% heat, 20 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap time, 450m range, 2.5 seconds focus time and 50%x5 stagger value. This must charge before being used, but it fires a high power multi hit beam that can pierce through enemies. It can be fired in the air and charge while moving too.
The LV1 Tallgeese III has 22,000 HP, 30 ballistic resist, 18 beam resist and 30 melee resist. It has low HP and low beam resist, which makes it very squishy overall. It has a 30% damage reduction left shoulder buffer, LV1 Maneuver Armor, LV1 Fall Prevention System, LV3 Emergency Evasion and LV1 Offence System for defensive skills.
In terms of mobility it has 135 walking speed, 230 boosting speed, 80 thrust and 81 turning speed. It has very high mobility, made even better by it having access to LV4 Forced Injector, LV2 Flap Booster and LV3 Flight Control.
It has access to some other powerful skills too:
LV3 Pursuit Melee Aux. Program, which boosts damage dealt to knocked over/stunned enemies by 20%, while also ignoring 10% of their melee resistance stat.
LV1 Melee Battle Optimizer, which boosts melee weapon swap speed by 30% if you already have a melee weapon equipped.
LV2 Firing Boost, which can be activated by boosting while your thrusters are overheated. For 30 seconds, you have unlimited thrust, you can fire your primary weapon while boosting, you gain 20 boosting speed, you deal 1.4x extra stagger accumulation with your primary weapon while boosting and you recover from overheat with your primary weapon twice as fast while boosting. Dodge rolling or tackling takes 10 seconds off the timer, and your thrusters are overheated for 3x longer than normal once the timer runs out.
In conclusion, I think that the Tallgeese III is pretty powerful if you can get used to its quirks. Firing Boost can be a blessing and a curse, you are able to just run over enemies with your 250 HSM and boost fire primary, but if the timer runs out when you are out in the open, you are basically free food for enemies, even if you are using a thrust cooldown build. Even while Firing Boost is active, generals like Dahgi Iris and Sazabi can still very easily stagger accumulate you out of the air. I do not recommend rolling on it if you just want a meta suit for rated match, the Sazabi and Dahgi Iris will do just fine. The Tallgeese III can match those two, but it has a very high skill ceiling. Thanks for watching!
