This is one of our landscaping projects in Knocklyn, Dublin, designed as a low-maintenance garden with clean lines and contrasting materials.
The paving combines oatmeal granite with silver granite, creating a subtle contrast that adds interest while keeping the design modern and elegant. The edges are finished with reclaimed cobbles, which give the garden a natural character and help define the space.
We’ve softened the look of the steel shed by adding a decorative Buddha head feature, along with a retractable clothesline for practicality.
The garden also features beach pebbles that add texture and complement the paving materials.
Planting is a mix of perennials and shrubs, providing colour and structure throughout the year. A raised planting bed adds height to the garden and creates effective screening using Griselinia, which forms a beautiful, dense hedge.
To finish the space, we’ve installed garden lighting throughout, allowing the garden to be enjoyed both during the day and in the evening.
