Visit to HMS Caroline

This is a video of my visit to HMS Caroline in Belfast a couple of months ago, shortly after the ship was refurbished and opened to members of the public. I highly recommend that you make an effort to visit the ship, as all of the refurbishment work that has been done to her is outstanding, and also done to a very high standard.

Make sure to check the website before planning a visit because at the time of writing, HMS Caroline is in H&W dry docks for repairs to the hull.

Well done to absolutely everyone who took part in the preservation of this highly historic ship. It's future is now secured and I'm glad to see it staying here in Northern Ireland.

The first part of this video shows some footage of the feature film which is shown within the ship. The film itself is very dramatic and lasts for roughly 10 mins, it goes through the major events which happened at the battle of Jutland, it also goes into further detail regarding HMS Caroline herself.

The second part is a slide show of images taken of the displays within, I've also added the "Sink The Bismarck" theme song.

I hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed my visit, again I highly recommend that everyone pays a visit because it is something really worth seeing.
