In this vlog, I’m speaking honestly about life as a traveling videographer - and why I don’t always get excited about it.
From the outside, traveling for video production looks glamorous. New cities. New opportunities. Recognition. Respect. And I’m grateful for all of it. The trust, the clients, the access - I don’t take any of that lightly.
But the truth is, being a videographer who travels comes with trade-offs. Time away from my wife and kids. Long days. Airports. Hotels. Missing moments at home.
I’ve been told I carry myself in a nonchalant way, especially when I’m in places people dream of visiting. The reality is simple: I don’t “fan out.” I see it as another opportunity to capture someone's memories. With meaning. And purpose.
This isn’t a complaint. It’s perspective.
