The UN Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC) elects by acclamation, Lok Bahadur Thapa of Nepal, Krzysztof Szczerski of Poland, and Maritza Chan Valverde of Costa Rica as Vice Presidents for its 2025 session (25 Jul 2024 - 30 Jul 2025).
They were elected from the Asia-Pacific States, Eastern European States, and Latin American and Caribbean States, regional groups, respectively.
