I am THRILLED to do this piece; this is a monumental fragment of my childhood- the theme song from Final Fantasy 7's Cosmo Canyon or "Valley of the Fallen Star" as it was formally written. I grew up a HUGE nerd and that means that (obviously) I played all of the Final Fantasy games- FF7 being one of (if not my very) favorite of the series.
The music in Cosmo Canyon was always a favorite of mine. I absolutely love traditional music and I feel that Nobou Uematsu captured the traditions of Cosmo Canyon perfectly in this composition..
I hope you enjoy my rendition of this gorgeous number as I pay homage to a hero/idol of mine. That being said I did not write this piece I am merely putting forth my own take on it.
I really miss doing live performances. As you may or may not know I suffer from numerous chronic illnesses which make it very difficult for me to do most things - including paying for long periods.
