Beneath the Surface of Words: A Kendore Learning Webinar

When we take a deeper look at words by exploring their morphological framework, we discover that there’s a meaningful structure that makes sense. During this webinar, guest presenter Sue Scibetta Hegland provided enlightening evidence of the reasons for many common spelling patterns. Hegland is the author of the highly acclaimed new release "Beneath the Surface of Words: What English Spelling Reveals and Why It Matters." By diving beneath the surface of words, we can reveal the integrated system that makes sense of the spelling of English words. The webinar was followed by a 30-minute Q&A session, and was presented by Kendore Learning on February 21, 2022.
