ALT in Japan A Typical Junior High Lesson

Hello everyone! I'm an ALT in Kyoto Japan and I wanted to share my experiences with you. This video is about a lesson I had today in my junior high school. I noticed there was a similarity between this lesson and a lot of my other English lessons as an ALT here in Japan.
The format I see most often is:
1) Greeting
2) Warm-up activity (usually partner interview or quick bingo, or something that usually takes under 5 minutes)
3) Grammar point is taught (either by the JTE (Japanese partner teacher), or the ALT and JTE, or just the ALT)
4) Activity or Game or Worksheet using the grammar point. This is usually a collaboration with the ALT and JTE. But it can also be planned just by the JTE or just by the ALT.
