In this video, we take a closer look at the incredible stories of three extraordinary women who are finally reclaiming their place in the story of art: Artemisia Gentileschi, Clara Peeters and Berthe Morisot.
For centuries, women artists were pushed to the margins of art history: ignored, erased, or reduced to footnotes. From the Baroque courts of Italy to the Dutch Golden Age and the heart of Impressionism in Paris, these artists worked against overwhelming odds. And yet, they created powerful, daring, and deeply modern works that still resonate today.
Discover why museums are finally bringing forgotten women artists back into the spotlight, how art history is being rewritten, and why it matters for all of us.
