In this video, we will show you the different adaption options for the LUMIX S-Series of cameras. You will see the different behaviour of the S1 in terms of image circle and IS-behaviour adaption, when mounting a native L-mount lens with full frame and with APS-crop as well as via an active adapter, such as the Sigma MC-21 (with an EOS-lens attached).
Then we will show you what differs, when adapting via a passive adapter or even utilising a focal reducer to get that extra stop of light. Learn here, which menu settings to use to optimise the performance of your S1 with virtually any lens.
