Basketry artist and fiber art professor Ann Coddington has been on an incredible creative journey in fiber for decades now. For Ann, art is a unique language of expression. Her desire to create work using familiar materials from the natural world using ancient weaving techniques like twining has resulted in a unique and compelling body of work that continues to inspire fiber art enthusiasts and makers alike. Matt and Ann met several years ago at a conference held at Arrowmont while Matt was serving on the board of directors for the National Basketry Organization.
